The Academy of the Holy Angels is the oldest private Catholic college preparatory high school in Bergen County. Founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Fort Lee, New Jersey, in 1879, we moved to our Demarest campus in 1965. Dedicated to empowering young women to lead in academics, arts, athletics, spirituality, and service, we remain steadfast in our vision to provide our students with a global curriculum as we prepare our young women to use their gifts to make a difference in our world. In the words of our foundress, Blessed Theresa Gerhardinger, we are working to transform the world through education.
